Doo Wop (That Thing) #23
This album reminds me of visiting my sister at her house in Diss, many years ago. I used to get the train from Ipswich on a Friday after 6th form, we’d spend the weekend eating crap, watching girlie films and visiting the local pub (I may have been slightly younger than 18). I used to cheer her up when she was lonely and single in Norwich, giving her guy advice (I was quite clued up for a single 17 year old) and she’d make me feel older than I was, living it up in Diss.
I miss those trips, its so much harder to see each other all the time now we’re all grown up, we don’t do too badly though….and I’ll steal my niece off her when the new baby comes along and she’ll be my new Zoe. If you’re reading this Zoe, I’m joking, calm down, I need you to stick around so you can force me to watch crap (amazing) chick flicks and give me man advice….thats right, people are interested. They’re not. But you need to be there for that eventuality.
If you don’t stand in your room fist pumping the air when you listen to this song, there is seriously something wrong with you. Not me.
